nd Špalek Wine Tasting

VINOHRAD | Korunní 21, Prague 2

Thursday, June 18, 2026, 6:30 p.m.

Come taste 11 exceptional wines from the pioneers of Moravian organic winemaking and the recent winners of the 2024 Winery of the Year award. Marek Špalek will personally guide us through a guided tasting of the Špalek family winery from Nový Šaldorf, presenting not only VOC Znojmo appellation wines, but also the natural wine series from his niece Kamča and the famous Šaler liqueur. A relaxed evening awaits you under our vaulted ceilings, filled with deep winemaking pride, honest stories, and pairings with our delicacies.

Summer drinks are here!

VINOHRAD | Korunní 21, Prague 2

Starting May 28, 2026

Our summer garden is officially open, and with it comes a brand-new menu full of refreshing drinks. You can look forward to perfectly chilled classics like the Aperol Spritz, as well as our refined summer specials such as the Negroni Sbagliato or the apricot Bellini Twist. Come grab a spot in the shade among the Vinohrady houses and enjoy a truly relaxed atmosphere with the best drink in hand.

Quality craftsmanship

We know who made this wine. We know them by name. No middlemen, no fluff. We personally transport the wine directly from the wineries we love. We focus on small family-run businesses where the craft is passed down through generations and where the winemaker knows every vine in their vineyard.

We don’t buy grapes from anywhere else. Just honest work on our own vineyards, from the first bud to the bottle.

Stories of dedicated wineries where the craft is passed down from generation to generation.

Fiery Tokaj and deep red wines from the area south of Villány.

Precision from the Wachau that the world loves.

Modern wines with incredible energy.

  • The protective nitrogen atmosphere in Enomats acts as an invisible shield that displaces oxygen from the bottle, thereby preventing the wine from oxidizing. As a result, every glass you pour yourself retains its unrivaled freshness, flavor, and aroma.

  • We serve white wines at 6 °C and red wines at 14 °C, which is intentionally a few degrees lower than the usual standard. When tasting small samples, the wine in the glass opens up and warms up very quickly, so that by the time you take your first sniff, it’s at exactly the ideal temperature to reveal its full character.

  • For every bottle in the vending machine, you can immediately see its price and a brief description, so you know exactly what you’re pouring into your glass. You have complete control over your selection and your budget, allowing you to relax and focus solely on whatever appeals to you most at that moment.

Two atmospheres

An outdoor café with empty wooden tables and chairs, string lights hanging overhead, in front of a wine shop called VinoHRÁL with its door open, revealing bottles of wine inside.

The Heart of Vinohrady. Energy. Connection. Above the cellar, right at street level, life pulses with an energy that will immediately sweep you away. In the summer, our space comes alive right on the sidewalk beneath the tree canopy, where a few tables in a charming Southern style await you—the perfect spot for a drink under the open sky.

Our upstairs space is an oasis for those seeking activity, new faces, and the authentic atmosphere of a neighborhood hangout. It’s a place where barriers come down at the first Enomat—where strangers become friends at the shared bar counter, and where every drink is accompanied by laughter and lively conversation. If you’re looking for the warmth of home mixed with the energy of the big city, you’ve come to the right place.

Brick vaults. Candlelight. Romance. We found a hideaway beneath bustling Korunní Street. A historic cellar where time simply stands still. We’ve fine-tuned the acoustics so that even at a full table, people can still hear each other—without shouting, without unnecessary noise. It’s a place for dates, deep conversations, or just a quiet moment of respite in a setting that remembers old Prague.

The interior of a restaurant features exposed brick walls and a vaulted brick ceiling. Wooden tables with black chairs are arranged throughout, and each table has a small lit candle. The overall atmosphere is warm and rustic.

Reservations

The table is yours for the entire evening. Although the reservation system shows a 30-minute time slot, that is merely a time window for your arrival. We will hold the reservation for 30 minutes from your selected time.

If you plan to arrive with a group of more than 6 people, please contact us at info@vinohrad.net, and we will send you an email with all the details regarding larger reservations.

We do not accept reservations for the tasting table on the ground floor—it operates strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

We are usually open Tuesday through Saturday from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. If the system does not allow you to make a reservation for a specific day, it means we are hosting a private event in the cellar. However, you are still welcome to come to the tasting table on the ground floor without a reservation.
